CLIENT INFORMATION

We are required by law to inform you about the personal information about you which we hold to enable you to understand the purpose for which it is used.

When you contact us with a view to obtaining a quotation for window cleaning or similar services, we ask you to provide a certain amount of personal information about yourself, limited to your name, address, phone number and email address. We use this information for the purpose of contacting you for any site visits and subsequent communications.

If you then enter into a contract with us for the provision of our services, we will use your personal information to provide the services that you have requested. We will only share your information with third parties where it is necessary for the purposes for the services which you ask us to provide. we will not sell or share your information for marketing purposes with any other company or third party. The legal basis on which we will normally use your information is in order to perform our contract with you for the provision of the services requested by you.

You have the right to ask us to provide a copy of the information which we hold about you and to correct or remove any information which you think is inaccurate.

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

After completing the services requested by you, we will retain your personal information for such longer period as is necessary to comply with the legal and contractual obligations to which we are subject, normally a maximum of 6 years (or 12 where certain warranty documents are issued).

 

Storage and Security​

 

Vue Group Limited do not store personal or sensitive information on our office PCs or mobile devices. All Personal and sensitive information is stored on our company Network Attached Storage device (NAS), which is username and password protected. The NAS can be accessed from our computers and mobile devices via a Virtual Private Network (VPN). All paperwork and administration duties are carried out and saved within the NAS domain. All PCs and mobile devices are password or PIN protected. Mobile devices can be remotely erased should they be lost or stolen.

 

Access Permissions

 

Access to the company Network Attached Storage device is granted to three persons as follows:

Company Director;

Company Secretary;

Company Administrator.

 

External Storage

 

We do not store any Personal or sensitive information on an External storage device.

All USB Flashdrives are password protected or encrypted.

We do not use or store information on CDRs.
